Instant page layout Make great-looking montage pages in one minute or less
Once your photos are added to the online system, laying them out as a montage page is magically quick. Just select a template, pick photos and crop to fit. You can then instantly see how the page will look in your printed book.
Add captions Many templates also have optional photo captions
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but sometimes it’s good to say something too. Most of Yearbook Machine’s montage templates have spaces for optional photo captions, so you can add a witty quip as a reminder of exactly what happened.
Six styles, hundreds of templates No two pages have to be the same
Each montage can have between 2 and 12 photos on it, and there are multiple layouts for each number of photos, so your book’s layout can stay interesting and varied throughout.
Powerful photo tools Import from Facebook, apply effects and more.
Yearbook Machine was built for dealing with thousands of photos per book. Each person can import them straight from their Facebook profile and have them instantly indexed for use in the system. You can also rotate photos and add effects, and the system gives automatic warnings about whether photos are of good enough quality to print.
Below are screenshots from our online system displaying how Montage Pages are made. For more information on the system, see the Online System section, or to try it for yourself, sign up for a free trial today.
Montage Page - Overview Tab See all the content for each montage at a glance
All the relevant information about each montage page is displayed on its Overview page.
Montage Page - 'Photos' Tab Collaborate and collect relevant photos for each page
All pages in the system can have photos ‘linked’ to them by any user in your network. For montage pages, this means that anyone with photos related to a topic can link photos to that topic’s page - e.g. all the members of a sports team could link their photos to that team’s page.
Montage Page - 'Print Layout' Tab Select which photos will be printed in your finished book
The Print Layout tab lets you select a layout for your montage page then fit photos to that layout. There are hundreds of layout to choose from, organised by style and number of photos.
